As we no longer produce paper patterns we no longer offer wholesale accounts sorry.
As you may know, we updated our Nova Coat (then Sapporo Coat) in December 2019 due to a small error.
The easiest way to tell if you have the updated version or not is, the original pattern has a tan coloured coat on the front, and the updated pattern has a charcoal coloured coat on the front.
If you originally purchased a PDF, your pattern will have automatically updated. All you need to do is download the pattern again, and you'll have the updated version.
The only update made to this pattern since, is a name change in March 2021. 'The Sapporo Coat' is now called 'The Nova Coat'.
Because this name change does not affect the construction of the garment, this does not mean you're eligible for a free upgrade.
If you purchased your pattern BEFORE December 2019, and have had problems making your original Nova Coat (then called the Sapporo Coat) due to our now fixed error, please find a free download of the corrected pieces and updated instructions here.
No you can't. Papercut Patterns are for personal home use ONLY and can not be commercially produced.
Pattern Updates:
Growth is important. Over time, we may update our patterns and products to improve usability and maintain branding consistency.
If you have purchased a pattern that has since been updated (not due to error), replacements will not be issued.
Much like if your favourite peanut butter brand adjusted their recipe, it doesn’t mean you’re eligible for a free jar.
Updates may include but are not limited to additional sizes, tweaks and overall improvements to increase the product value. This goes for all PDF, printed and physical products.
Errata:
The quality and accuracy of our patterns means everything to us. Unfortunately, humans sometimes make mistakes. It doesn't happen often, but occasionally a pattern may need tweaking.
If you do find a mistake on your pattern, please check here for the latest update. If you don't find what you're after, please let us know by emailing our team here - info@papercutpatterns.com
Thank you for your understanding!
That’s ok! These things happen.
Firstly, try searching for it in your emails, especially if you have multiple email addresses.
If you have an account for our online store, try logging in to access your order history. You should be able to download from there.
If neither of those work, send us an email at orders@papercutpatterns.com with your order number and proof of purchase.
Please note that any orders purchased more than two years ago, or that have exceeded their download limit of 10 download attempts per file, cannot be re-sent.
By purchasing any of our PDF patterns, you agree that they are for personal use only. Download links are not to be shared. We have a limited number of IP addresses that your links can be downloaded from. If you exceed this limit, your access will be revoked.
It’s always best to start with creating an account on our online store. That way, you have access to all of your purchases in one place.
When you place an order, you can either follow the on screen prompts, or head over to your emails.
You’ll receive an email that contains a button that says ‘Access your content’. Click this button and it will take you straight to your files!
If you can’t find an email from us, check your junk/spam folder. Make sure we're not marked as spam so that you can receive future confirmations from us too. Please also check alternative emails that you may have used when placing the email.
From there you’ll be able to download your files. You have a download limit of 10 times you can download these files so we recommend that you download all of them, and save them somewhere safe on your computer, an external hard drive, or an online cloud service like Dropbox or WeTransfer. It’s free to create an account!

Follow the ‘Printing Instructions’ to find out how to print your PDF pattern.
Open the pattern with a PDF viewer. We recommend using Adobe Reader which you can download here: https://get.adobe.com/reader/ at no charge.
Before you print, make sure page scaling is turned OFF. The pattern needs to be printed at 100% or it will be not be correct.
Print your test square first, you will generally find it on page 5, and measure it to check it that it has been printed to scale. When it measures correctly, print your required pattern pages.
If you're having trouble with a particular step in your instructions, a sewing technique, or anything else, we have a variety of photographic tutorials available that may answer your questions. You can find these under the 'Learn' tab in the menu.
If you're still unsure, you can get in touch with our wonderful team by emailing help@papercutpatterns.com
