Pin dart in place, right sides together and matching notches.

Stitch dart together so that the stitch line ends smoothly and gradually at the marked point. You can use pins as a guideline if you have trouble.

With the needle down, pivot foot around so that you’re facing back in the direction of the raw edge.

Stitch back down the folded edge a few centimetres and back tack. This eliminates unnecessary bulk at the dart point and makes for a neater finish.
